We’ve compiled our top tips from picking the right location, best practices for maintaining the battery to general maintenance. Keep reading to ensure your e-bike stays in tip top shape and avoid unnecessary repairs or diminished performance.
• Indoor vs. Outdoor: We definitely recommend storing your electric bike indoors to protect it from weather and the elements. If outdoor storage is necessary, consider investing in a bike cover
• Temperature: Keep your e-bike in a climate-controlled environment, ideally between 32-104°F (0-40°C).
• Humidity Control: Avoid damp areas to prevent rust and corrosion.
• Keep it clean: Especially for longer storage periods, make sure to wipe down the frame, wheels, and drivetrain, and ensure it's completely dry before storing.
