What are the appropriate tyre sizes, with and without mudguards?
The Loft Go! 5i EQ comes with 700 x 2” Schwalbe Fat Frank balloon tyres. Electra strongly recommends adhering to the original tyre size.
Will changing tyres affect the speed calculation or other parts of the e-system?
Yes, changing the tyre size will affect the speed calculation and load capacity. The Loft Go! 5i EQ is designed to support a total bike capacity (including bike weight) of 136 kg. Electra strongly recommends adhering to the original tyre size.
What is the maximum chain ring size? Minimum?
The Loft Go! 5i EQ comes with a 38T chain ring. Electra strongly recommends using original equipment and specifications.
What is the hub spacing? Axle type?
The rear hub spacing is 135 mm bolt-on type and front hub spacing is 100 mm bolt-on type. Electra strongly recommends using original equipment and specifications.
What is the rear brake mount? What is the max rotor size?
The Loft Go! 5i EQ has IS mount front and rear brakes with 180 mm rotors. Electra strongly recommends using original equipment and specifications.
Are touch-up paints available?

What is the maximum pedal-assisted speed?
The Loft Go! 5i EQ features pedal-assist support up to 20 mph (25 km/h in Europe). Please reference local laws and regulations to understand where this e-bike can be ridden.
What is the range?
The battery range is up to 112 km. Actual range will vary based on terrain, assist level and total carrying capacity.
What is the motor power/output?
The motor power is 250 W nominal rating with an output of 50 Nm of torque.
What type of charger does it come with and how long does it take to charge the battery?
It comes with a 4-amp charger and will charge to 50% in about 1.5 hours, and 100% in 3.5 hours from empty. Contact an authorised Electra retailer for a replacement charger.
How is the battery properly charged?
Only charge the battery with the included charger type in a dry indoor area between the temperatures 0 to 40 °C. Do not leave it unattended. When the battery is fully charged, disconnect the charger from the e-bike and wall socket.
Can the battery be upgraded to a larger size?
Yes, other Bosch PowerPack batteries are available from distributors of Bosch e-bike parts.
Can a second battery be added to extend the bike's range?
No.
How much does the battery weigh?
The Bosch PowerPack 500 battery weighs approximately 2.27 kg.
Is the battery removable and can it be replaced?
Yes, the battery can be removed and automatically locks when on the bike. Electra suggests the battery be attached and the key be removed for riding. To replace your battery, please visit an authorised Electra retailer.
Are spare keys available?
Yes, spare keys can be ordered through an authorised Electra retailer.
Which app is this e-bike compatible with?
The Loft Go! 5i EQ is not compatible with an app.

Yes. Software updates must be performed by an authorised Electra retailer.
How often should this e-bike be serviced?
It is best practice to bring your e-bike to an authorised Electra retailer once a year to check for e-system updates and servicing.
What is the warranty for the e-system and who should claims be made with?
There is a two-year warranty for the e-system. All warranty claims should be processed by an authorised Electra retailer.
Can this e-bike be ridden with a flat battery?
Yes, the Loft Go! 5i EQ can be ridden with no battery charge.
Does it have any accessory mounts?
Yes, the Loft Go! 5i EQ comes with an ABUS frame lock, kickstand, front rack, rear MIK rack, front and rear lights, a bell and mudguards.
Does it have wiring for lights? What lights are compatible?
Yes, the Loft Go! 5i EQ comes with front and rear Spanninga LED lights. Electra strongly recommends using the original equipment.
What types of products are compatible with the included rack?
Any MIK products are compatible with the included rear rack.
Is it compatible with child seats?
No. The maximum weight rating for Electra's MIK rear racks is 25 kg. Child seat compatibility requires testing and labelling for a max weight rating of 27 kg.
Is it compatible with trailers?
Yes. Make sure there is enough axle thread/nut engagement if using an axle-mounted hitch. When riding an e-bike with a trailer it is important to ride at slow, safer speeds. We encourage you to refer to the trailer brand's FAQ for more information.
Can this e-bike be carried with a car rack? What type?
This e-bike can be carried with a car rack. It is recommended to use a rack that has a minimum carrying capacity of 25 kg and does not secure over the top of the tyres, as the mudguards will interfere with its attachment.
